I had the best experience today from making my booking to seeing a doctor. I rang just after 8am and spoke to a very nice receptionist who offered me an appointment at 10am, which I was so pleased with. I saw a Dr Bila who was absolutley fantastic. I had quite a few issues to discuss and he dealt with them all in a very thorough and caring manner. What a lovely doctor, the only downside being that he is leaving the surgery soon, I am so dissappinted. I then saw Vicky the receptionist on the desk who was also very helpful and friendly. All in all a very successful visit to the doctors

Went there this morning to see doctor Vaughan as new patients he was fantastic !!

There is only 1 doctor in this surgery that is of any help and trying to get an appointment with him is like trying to obtain blood from a stone. Every time I phone up I can't get through and the receptionist is rather unhelpful as I've tried to get later appointments in advance but their system only allows for 48 hour bookings. Absurd!

The only issue I have is getting an appointment. My 3rd attempt, called at 8.30am, got answer at 8.31am - message saying "8th in queue, please hold we'll be with you shortly" It's been 45mins and still on hold... tried to call the same number from another phone whilst staying in the queue to see if I can get through - line engaged. Seen the Doctor about 6 weeks ago who was great, arranged for me to have an X-Ray on the same day and arrange to make an appointment to see him in 10days time. Wasn't able to make an appointment that fat in advance with the receptionist, its now been 4 weeks since my X-Ray and still not able to make an appointment to discuss with the Doctor. When I've previously explained this to the Receptionist, she's suggested I go and queue outside at 8am, great if I wasn't working, but I cant take the time off work just to make an appointment. Just got through, 53mins waiting, told my Doctor is on leave for 2 weeks and his rota isn't available to book in advance, told to try and ring at 4pm to see if rota is then available - when is said it's my 3rd attempt to make an appointment, I was told they're busy, it's the same for everyone - I really hope that isn't the case because I now have to call a 4th time with no guarantee of an appointment. I'm just hoping that there's no real issues with my health...
