Patient focused.
Doctor was understanding about frustration of appointment system.
Perhaps receptionists need access to records to see who is a prolific appointment misser or someone who rarely comes to see a doctor.
I am 90 yrs and was able to get seat while waiting.
Was not able to manage stairs and HC come to attend to me on ground floor.
Usually cannot fault this practice but had an awful consultation today with one of the doctors ( first time I have seen her ) . Agree totally with reviewer on 19th July 2017 ; unhelpful , unsympathetic , inappropriate and totally patronising . I will steer clear of her in future .
From the initial contact by phone through to consultation the service provided is virtually always efficient, professional and kind and we count ourselves fortunate to have such an excellent service.
As an improvement, as a woman I have on some occasions found consultations with the older female GP's less sympathetic than I feel they should have been. I am aware of a similar view amongst my own peer group as patients.
