I tried to call with a problem re a repeat prescription being unavailable at the pharmacy.
took 20 mins to get a response from reception, who didn't bother listening to my query just put me straight through to another department, 12 in queue!
Its no wonder people are so disappointed with the service
I phoned at 8.00 and was 21 in queue. I had tried to do e- consult but was rejected as system could not deal with me symptoms which were not on the list of options. After consulting the supervisor a couple of times the operator gave me a appointment at end of same day with nurse practitioner. Appointment was good and we agreed a way forward. Blood test booked by NP. : days later (Sat pm!) Dr Foster called to discuss results and we agreed on a further blood test.
GP phoned and arranged appointment for B12 vaccination
It is not possible to get a GP appointment on the NHS app which seems to have changed with no announcement.
Sometimes you have to wait a long time in the
Queuing system as I am retired it doesn’t matter too much it is just annoying
