It's really hard to get an appointment, even if you phone at 8am. The staff are normally very pleasant when they answer.

This service is available between 7.00am and 10.00am and can be accessed via our website (https://www.billingshurstsurgery.co.uk/appointment-system.php) or if you have the NHS app, via the "ask my GP for advice" section in the NHS app, I hope you find this helpful. I never have any issues getting an appointment apart from maybe having to wait on the phone for a few minutes, and everyone is always extremely helpful.

I wouldn’t say it’s easy as rarely possible to get one on the phone but having the option of the e-consult helps. However if you only want to ask the GP a question following an appt, it’s annoying to have to make another appt just for that (as happened to me recently).

Sometimes I feel there’s a lack of communication between departments. I was in the surgery recently for an ECG and someone else at surgery was trying to get a message to me from a GP about another matter but wasn’t aware that I was actually in the surgery at that time (even though it would’ve been in my records). I only know because my husband took a call from the surgery on his home office line. The receptionist struggled to find answers.

I have had several occasions to call the surgery recently and have been truly grateful for the incredible service provided by the admin team. They have gone above and beyond on some very difficult days and have found appointments by juggling others. Every member of the team we have met have been professional, have moved mountains and have made a tremendous difference to mine and members of my families day to lives. Very grateful, you are making a difference
