I was told I could have an appointment for the contraception injection but it turned out I needed a family planning first noone booked this so it was a waste of an appointment for you and my time. I was supposed to have someone contact me about sorting My appointments but nothing

Not have these types of appointments available without previous appointments or train your reception team bettrt

I was grateful to have an appointment. The medication prescribed says speak to your GP if you suffer from Glaucoma, the pressures in my Right eye are very high and waiting to see if I need surgery so very reluctant to take it.

Had my medication sent electronically to pharmacy of my choice. The GP said she didn’t have authorisation to do that, to collect from the surgery. I wasn’t well enough to collect it. My neighbour had to collect the prescription from the surgery, take it to the pharmacy and wait for it to be dispensed. I can only presume the GP was from another surgery as I didn’t recognise her voice. I would much rather speak to someone from my own practice. It is different if it’s an emergency. In future when I’m well enough I will request face to face appointment.

Everything was spot on , I just couldn’t open the link sent to me so I phoned appointments again and they sorted it

Suggested improvements
I find the NHS app comes in and is unavailable at times . It would be very useful to both patients and surgery staff if patience could have a short lesson about the App or for dummies type instructions one could look over and try out .
