The receptionist on the phone was lovely and very helpful getting me an apt. The GP was fantastic and very efficient. She was new but I had every confidence in what she was advising and prescribing.
The receptionist at the surgery were very non engaging and appeared very unhappy doing their job when I visited to collect my prescriptio. The huge queue at the pharmacy was also ignored for some time before pharmacy staff acknowledged the first in the queue. Again didn’t look at all happy to be there.
Hi,
Yesterday, I had a cervical screening test at 9:20 with nurse Jane, she talked to me kindly but I felt uncomfortable during the test, but everything was fine afterwards, until this morning I woke up early in the morning with a pain on my left pelvic side , it was a sharp pain, suddenly , there is no bleeding. I don't know what is going on.
It's never been like this previously , it's discontinued uncomfortable sensation afterwards, that left me worried because I shouldn't have it after the test. I don't know what is going inside my body.
I called at 8am, waited for 5 minutes on the phone and was given a same day appointment for 915 which I was very grateful and surprised about. The doctor was a new young female GP and she was so kind and respectful and I felt listened to and not rushed. Everyone at the surgery was friendly and I commented to my partner later how lucky we were to have access to it - certainly not the case across England given cuts to the NHS. Thank you all.
My experience on the day
Dr Saunders and her assistant were incredibly kind and friendly.
