I have given up asking for an appointment for minor concerns, these are not emergencies and there seems to be a way to book non-urgent appointments

Thank you for your feedback, for non-urgent appointments you may find it easier to use our econsult service, it is available between 7am and 10am and can be accessed via our website (https://www.billingshurstsurgery.co.uk/appointment-system.php) or if you have the NHS app you can complete the form via the "ask my GP for advice" section in the NHS app. The type of appointment is usually the choice of the patient, whether that is face to face or via the telephone, unless the condition needs to be assessed in person by the clinician. I have always found all staff to be very helpful. It may not be the easiest thing to get a routine appointment but when ever, there is an emergency or something to really worry about such as with my child, I have never ever not been able to get an appointment and the receptionists bend over backwards to help. Jane has really put herself out to help me with an ongoing problem for which I am so grateful. I find the surgery much calmer now and less busy on an actual visit. On a recent GP visit with my child. Dr Hazelwood gave him a lot of her time and made great efforts to reassure him and make sure he was comfortable, we never felt rushed and felt we had the best possible care. Thank you for everything you do for us as a surgery, some of us are extremely grateful.

If it was possible, it may be nice to have a water dispenser in the waiting room, just an idea.

It was easy for getting an appt for vaccinations but difficult for a doctor’s one
