Seen recently by Harriet the nurse who is doing dressings and she has been fabulous. Feel very confident with her looking after me. She keeps me updated and is extremely helpful and personable.

Saw Locum doctor ( I do t know his name sorry) on 10th July for a cyst/ abscess on my chest and he was, I am sorry to say, quite useless. I was in so much pain and the abscess was huge nearly at bursting point. He asked me what it was and what I wanted to do… sent away with antibiotics and he said because I wasn’t at shivering and fever point ( ie it hadn’t burst) he didn’t want to send me to hospital. I ended up taking myself to A&E 5 days later and the doctor and the surgeon could not believe he hadn’t referred me as an urgent case. They operated and removed it immediately.

Getting this appointment was no problem in person due to an available cancellation. However generally the availability of appointments and stress of being on the phone at a few seconds after 8:00!am and finding you are 40th in the queue or all gone is a problem to fix please.

For this appointment- nothing!! For appointment at short notice previous day with nurse practitioner, nothing, just a real shout out for Laura, thanks!!

When you get an appointment the staff are excellent. I had a nurse lead invasive appointment she was outstanding,kind patient and understanding of my apprehension. But trying to get a gp appointment is ridiculous people waiting outside at 7:40 to get an appointment!!??? Really how can this be right...not so bad on a dry July morning,but that thought in January! Not on.. And then told to come back as appointments on 5 days in advance ...best to do an e,-consult is what your told.... Is it you just don't want to see people face to face?? You make it very difficult.

The diabetic nurse Anne was so helpful and explained everything so well. She was so thorough in her job, it was a pleasure to see her. Thank you Anne.
