Great experience all together. Brilliant doctor and the nurse who took my bloods was incredible. What really impressed me, however, was how lovely and efficient the reception staff are. This makes such a difference as I've had poor experiences in the past at Billingshurst Surgery with the previous staff being unreasonably rude.

I was given an appointment for an annual review but the nurse refused to carry this out as I have no pre-existing health issues, I' am assuming she meant someoneon the QOF Register. I explained that I haven't had a medical review since we moved to this surgery and, in fact, not since I had my hip replacement 2017. When I questioned that surely it was good preventative measures to review patients periodically she suggested I go elsewhere.

I have not received a medical review since joining the Billingshurst Surgery in January, 2020 which is at odds with anyone else's experience when moving to a new Surgery. Friends our age have automatically been invited for a review of their medical history, medication review and baseline blood tests. Surely it is better to catch anything in the early stages rather than wait until there are problems. When I questioned how I might get thus modicum of healthcare, I was told I have to see a GP fir this to be prescribed.

I was given an appointment a week in advance to see a doctor for a relatively minor complaint. However, when she saw me she diagnosed skin cancer and arranged a referral and also a blood test rhe following day. Both nurses were excellent, and we laughed so much. So two highly satisfactory visits... Thank you, Lesley Wardle
