Yesterday I came for a blood test. My appointment was on time and the phlebotomist obviously experienced. Trying to get a doctor’s appointment seems impossible. I’ve had an e consult but not with a GP from the surgery. I’ve also been given a Nurse Practitioner appointment. As a new patient I would have liked to have discussed some of my health concerns with a GP. Not impressed with being left in tears in pain and told phone back tomorrow. Overall there are some things that seem to run very smoothly but otherwise I’m really disappointed with the practice

Suggested improvements
1 Repeat prescriptions need to be listed as repeat and not kept on the acute list 2 patients should not be left in pain 3 provide more information about the practice and how things work. New patients from other areas (like me) won’t automatically know 4 update your practice information leaflet and make it available at reception. Not everyone has a computer and the ability to print it off
