Getting a appointment proved harder than normal, in fact the receptionist told me I needed to give more notice ,and made me feel like I was causing her a problem, this appointment was asked for from my haematology team and I was calling from my hospital bed to organise this for the following week, I was very upset by her attitude and tone. The nurse I saw couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. She is a credit to the practice.

Suggested improvements
Perhaps a bit of empathy on behalf of the receptionist or maybe more training?
