Even when I call on the dot of 8 am, there is often a very long queue in front of me - how does that happen?

Suggested improvements
Maybe get more staff to answer the appointments phone. Allow patients to book ahead, not only on the day.

Good morning, I am sorry that you find the queues on the phone line very long, unfortunately we do have a high demand for appointments first thing in the morning and we do have a team of people that answer the calls as quickly as possible. Are you aware that we now offer an econsult service that is available 7am 10am Monday to Friday and can be accessed via our website (https://www.billingshurstsurgery.co.uk/appointment-system.php) or if you have the NHS app via the "ask my GP for advice" section in the NHS app, this form is the n processed by the ehub team and you will either be given an appointment with an appropriate clinician, given advice or signposted to a local service.
