It is incredibly difficult to make an appointment and usually requires very long waits to speak to a receptionist, followed by a conversation about there being no appointments available. Slightly better for Covid/flu jabs and nurse appointments.
Wait forever to get through
Very difficult to get an appointment even if you ring at 8.00 am even online is difficult, cant wait 2 weeks for appointment and ring back next day normally a waste of time.
Blood test no appointments.
One receptionist very rude but most are ok.
I know this is the same at most surgeries, but it's getting worse.
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback on your recent experiences. We are still committed to increasing our clinical teams, as such we have been trying to recruit for both a phlebotomist to increase the number of blood appointments we offer, and a GP to increase the number of appointments with doctors. We have also been looking at ways to increase capacity using the resources we currently have, but sadly without a new recruit this hasn't been enough. We are continuing to look for staff in both these roles and will make announcements as soon as we have been successful. Difficult for me to hear the surgery's recorded phone message, and a long wait. It was easier for me to drive to Billingshurst and stand outside to make an appointment . I also write to doctors...
But the morning of vaccinations was perfectly organised with caring positive staff.
Such good service from this surgery and all the staff. Having been a patient since moving to Slinfold in 2006 I have been very happy with the attention and care. Thank you
