Dr Church gives time to listen, check you out and explain things. He listens to your views and asks qustions related to concerns you may have. Administrators at reception are helpful and polite although sometimes a bit too ridgid with systems and would benefit from checking things out with the GP in order to make better use of appointments. E.g my husband and I were suffering with the same illness and had previously consulted with the gp over phone. When we needed to see the gp a couple of days later two seperate appointments had to be made with different doctors . In order to make links and fully understand what was going on we felt a joint appointment was needed. Getting appointments is more difficult these days than it has ever been but the surgery do work hard to accomodate if its felt the issue needs immediate support. I do not feel Doctor link is any help.

I got appointment very quickly. Dr Church had looked at my history before I went into his surgery and was knowledgable about my case. He seemed very professional and caring. I can't think of anything that would have improved my visit.

Managed to get a same day appointment due to an acute back problem. Was seen by a nurse and student nurse. Checks were thorough and sound advice given. Saved money by buying otc cocodamol. Excellent service , really professional and friendly. I’m not yet entirely comfortable with the doctorlink online thingy(1st time user) but it’s fine.

Improve the online booking system! I booked an appointment to be told I needed to book another one as they couldn’t help.

Thanks for this feedback - it's really helpful to have your views and I am sorry to hear that you have had problems with our online booking. I would certainly like to discuss this with you so that we can help address the issues you have been having. Our appointments cover a wide range of appointments with different clinical staff of all disciplines. These include from Health Care Assistants, Nurses and General Practitioners. Whilst we would love to make the system less 'clunky' for our patients, sadly this is the system NHS England have provided to use and there is not a lot of flexibility in being able to change how these appointments are displayed (for example we would love to put a little bit of information in to guide patients as to which may be the best clinician for their health needs). We do ask patients to put in a 'reason' for attending as this gives us some indication as to whether or not the patient is being booked with the right clinician. If it is more suitable to be seen by someone else we then have time to contact the patient to rearrange. As I said, it would be helpful to speak to you more about your experience so that we can use it for future planning.
