Surgery reception staff are generally very helpful and polite. I appreciate they have to deal with a great many things both over the phone and in person. Sometimes over the phone it has come across as a little tactless which doesn't always help when you're not feeling your best and trying to get an appointment. I know they have a difficult job to do and it's sometimes hard to keep smiling but this can come across when dealing with patients over the phone. That said those experiences are fairly rare. Most of the time I am greeted either over the phone or in person with kindness and compassion. A little improvement goes a long way. Keep doing what your doing and aiming for the stars.

There is a long elapsed time between seeking and securing an appointment, can this be mitigated?

Staff are always welcoming and ready to listen to my concerns. They take the time to explain things clearly. I have always been happy with the care they provide to me and my family. Thank you very much to the staff.

I have been registered with this practice since it's inception, during the time of Dr Grierson (Silver Street), then Dr's Lawson (Father & Son) then Dr Bishop (Silver Street, Church Street & Beversbrook), now Dr Church. During all this time and the many changes, I have continued to receive excellent care from all the team as and when necessary. If there is a negative comment, it's the very restricted car parking area. Although I can't see how this can be improved due to lack of space.
