I saw the locum lady doctor on 17th October and felt very professionally and sympathetically treated. The doctor’s questions and suggestions in relation to my specific needs were valid, helpful and put me on the route to addressing my issues successfully. The doctor was very personable, showed real concern and care and I would like to thank her for the time and true concern she extended to me.

My experience with the Nurse was very good. However my experience with the reception and information provided was incorrect and I am now having to return to surgery again to provide information. I enquired regarding what information was required by the surgery to revert to my maiden name. The young receptionist was unsure but instead of referring to an appropriate colleague for clarification she guessed at what info I needed to supply. I returned to the surgery that evening and spoke to another reception. They advised that the ibfo I had brought in was incorrect (letter from my Bank showing that I am using my maiden name). Again they tried to guess at the information needed, stating decree nisi and feed poll was only acceptable. Decree nisi I knew to be incorrect and I hadn't changed by deed poll as it's my maiden name. It was left for the surgery to contact me if other information was needed. Today I have received an "unsigned " email requesting the same incorrect information of a decree nisi + deed poll which doesn't apply in my circumstances. Why has no one actually taken the time to obtain the correct information. This cannot in this day be an isolated request? To add insult the email is addressed "Hi there" ...never in my professional life have I ever addressed someone in this manner! I will now have to return to the surgery once more with my decree absolute - one of the appropriate and correct documents. As a professional point of contact your reception should address patients in an appropriate manner and be able to refer to the correct information.

Originally had an appointment with Dr Church which was made rather promptly. The receptionist asked for my symptoms. She listened carefully and professionally and politely suggested I ring the following day for a cancellation, which I did and managed to get in with Dr Mather. I have been feeling poorly for nearly 3 weeks and was told I had a lower respiratory infection, and was given antibiotics. I found Dr Mather very approachable, polite, professional and listened to my all ailments examined me then explained very thoroughly what she had found. The only slight minus was waiting 15 mins for my appointment Thank you very much

Appointments within a good time frame. No long waits in waiting room. Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Doctors who listens and take account of circumstances and medical needs. Very professional but friendly centre.

I phoned at 8.30am today and asked to speak to someone to get advice. I was offered an appointment at 9.10. This is quite unusual as the surgery is very busy. Patients who have urgent needs are offered an appointment as quickly as possible but patients with less urgent requirements often have to wait quite some time to be seen at the surgery. I think that a two week wait to see a particular doctor is not good. When there are no available appointments a doctor will call back to discuss symptoms and offer solutions. However, all of the staff and doctors are always professional, approachable and helpful. They listen carefully and then offer sound advice or they are happy to suggest other professionals who can help.
