Ask specifically for a female doctor and was willing to wait the four days to get the appointment.
Ended up with a male doctor who I'd never seen before and who didn't listen to my problem or take in what I was saying about the issue.
Doctor then spouted off about his theories on a different medical condition I suffer from.

Hello there, I am very sorry to hear that you were not able to secure an appointment with a female GP and would very much like to look into why this happened. With three female GPs and only one male GP working here, I would be very interested to look into what went wrong here. I would be very grateful if you could contact me at emmybutcher@nhs.net to discuss this in more detail and provide me with the opportunity to investigate this issue to prevent it happening again for future appointments.
