Unbelievable that I called up too book an appointment and I was informed too use dr link which I then filled in and was informed by the system too call surgery too book appointment what an utter waste of ten mins of my day why oh why do we need more online forms I knew I needed too see a doctor or nurse and guess what I was correct simples

Hi there, Thanks for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the level of service you have received from us here at Beversbrook Medical Centre and I would very much like to meet with you so that we can explore your concerns further. We use all patient feedback as an opportunity to review how we are performing as a Surgery and where possible put improvements in place to assist our patients in getting the very best service we can provide. It sounds as though you called up the Practice for an acute presentation (i.e a minor illness for which you had not seen anyone about before). We have nurse triage appointments available every day of the week to assist us in providing our patients who have minor illnesses with an appointment as soon as possible (often on the day or within three working days). To make sure that our patients aren't provided with an appointment which is not suitable, we do ask you to complete a Doctorlink patient summary, which provides the nurse with the information they need prior to your appointment and means we can book you in with an alternative clinician if our triage nurse is unable to assist you. I hope this explains why we use Doctorlink for our patient's convenience. You may also be interested to know that patients who are suffering from acute illness can use Doctorlink to check their symptoms without the need to contact the Surgery. We will of course contact you to book a suitable appointment upon receipt of your summary.
