Very hard to get an appointment sometimes .

It is very difficult to get an appointment without queing up before tge surgery opens or completing an econsult a couple of times. But saying that i have been given appointments over tge weekend which is very good. The doctors are all very kind. The majority of the reception staff are helpful and the support nurses are very kind.

It is sometimes very difficult to arrange appointments. The surgery approach is getting better . Eg I was asked by Dr Moldovan to arrange a double appointment for around 20th January and this cannot be arranged . Now I will email the surgery and I trust this request will be met , however although I am in my late 60’s I am computer savvy , many of my friends of the same age are not and struggle to get appointments. I say , it has got better of late but there is always room to improve. Thank you Keith Waterfield

It appears very hard to get a timely appointment Appreciate this is due to demand but I had to wait over 3 weeks for appointment which necessitated a trip to A and E … this not effective use of NHS resources

Can never see a doctor face to face without having to do a stupid online form which not everyone is good with,also most the questions have nothing to do with your problem is about

Econsults are not always answered often have to be followed up and are not user friendly . Prescriptions take far too long to process and items are often left off. It is difficult that reception cannot contact the prescription team. We have often spent hours on the phone endeavouring to get an appointment. We have been told by reception the best way to get an appointment is to queue up at 8 outside the building which is not suitable if ill. We realise these issues are caused by staffing shortages but this makes it no less frustrating for your patients.

I have been a patient with the Thorndyke for many years and have always been happy with the service and care I have received. I have always found the receptionists to be helpful and sympathetic to my needs. It isn’t easy to get an appointment on this occasion my telephone consultation was arranged via calling 111 and then waiting until 6pm in the evening before the promised call from the GP. I can’t fault the treatment given following the call.

Waiting time to speak to reception ranges between 30 to 45 mins. Never ever an appointment regardless of having a lung condition and multiple course of antibiotics. Just get a Doctors call!
