Regents Park Practice

The receptionist started shouting at us when we arrived and said we were late. When we were 15 minutes early. We had told her the time of our appointment. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible. The was our first time to this practice and will be the last time.

2 years ago, I was going through a really rough and dark time with my mental health and I booked an appointment to see dr Flynn. The level of care, patience and understanding he showed really touched me. He listened to me and gave me all the support I needed. I went back recently for a review and he was just as kind and caring as the other times I’d seen him. I’m not right back to my old self but I’m in a much better place now and wouldn’t be without his care. I am so grateful to have dr Flynn as my doctor.

Staff helpful but appointments take long

I have been waiting on my results for over 3 & a half weeks & went in yesterday to be told oh they have been back for a couple of weeks !!! I have been calling every day for the last two weeks .Another problem my other results are there but waiting for a dr to look at them for 4 days

I can't fault the service i get at this practice, my doctor Dr Axel Schuttpelz and also other doctors and nurses that i have had appointments with. Its a shame in this day and age that they have to fund themselves for a Ultra scan machine that was used today to check a very worrying groin problem that i have had for a while and was given a great result and put any worries of Testicular Cancer out of my mind.Thank you very much.

New staff(receptionists) are not helpful/don't know the job, as the once we had for years.

I am very please to say that when I explained to GP about my problems and he arranged a scan for me and within minutes Mr Axel identify the cause of illness. I feel assured and I believe this facility is not available in other GP surgeries as I had better experience in the past but when I join at Ampthill Practice I regain my confidence.

Ampthill Practice is a good surgery that takes care of its patients. It has a clean environment and a welcoming spirit. Good receptionists.

It took me 2 weeks to get nearest appointment for an urgent and painful impingement problem and my GP did not send me to the right therapist and still waiting for 2 months.....
