My blood tests are showing that white blood cells are raised for more than 2 years which I was never notified about. After an year one of the Doctors brought it into my attention. Then I spoke to a doctor about it for advice. He said I don’t know and noted it into his diary with the promise to come back and never came back. Since then I my self have been contacting them and requesting regular blood tests. They would tell me my thyroid test is normal and ignore the white blood cell level. At last one of the doctors gave me an appointment to discuss my referral to a haematologist. Two days before the appointment one of the doctors I wish I could say his name phoned me and cancelled my appointment and said one of my colleagues would speak to haematologist and will contact you. No body ever came back to me. I requested him for a copy of blood test and explained I don’t have online excess. He said no. He was rude, impolite and wanted to get rid of me. I had a similar experience in 2015. I was very very critically I’ll my consultant advised a referral to an immunologist. My GP blocked the referral by saying that seeing an immunologist would not be beneficial. After lots of struggle when I saw the immunologist he made lots of difference.if you are fit and healthy it is a good surgery if you have a long standing problem and need specialist care don’t get register to this surgery. Finances are their preferences not the patient care. In last 10 years this surgery has declined.

I’m often away from home and if I have needed to get more meds, which has been known to happen, I can ring the surgery and get a prescription sent to the nearest pharmacy to where I am. I don’t need to try to see a go where I’m staying or add to an already overstretched local village service. I’ve had no problems speaking with reception, getting an appointment with a doctor, in fact I’ve not met a staff member I haven’t liked.

We switched to this surgery over 3 years ago when we moved from Surbiton and we have had nothing but professional, courteous and polite service from the reception team and all the nurses/doctors we've dealt with. More recently with COVID-19 both vaccine management and follow up calls when requesting an appointment with a doctor by phone have been easy to book and dealt with in a sympathetic and efficient manner. I cannot speak more highly of them and when I read some of the bad reviews I do wonder how people have spoken to or demanded things of the staff to warrant the responses they've received. Treat people with respect and you'll always get the best from them!!!!

I have been with the Holmwood Corner surgery for over 25 years. I have been look after with great care and attention. I haven't really got any suggestions as to how they could improve the service - i find the doctors, nurses and last but not least the receptionists always very caring and helpful. I would not even think of changing my surgery. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

Rubbish! Most of the times when you lucky enough to get through 5 minutes after opening most of appointments with reputable GPs gone. They always trying to book appointment with Dr. Kim, who seems to be always available. Dr. Kim is an partner in the surgery and I wander if that is the reason why the receptionists always trying to book you the appointment with him. His medical knowledge is a joke (from experience) and receptionists become extremly rude if you try to comment anything about Kim's knowledge in the medical field.

Touch and go depending on which GP you see. Some are totally incompetents and misdiagnose can be frequent. Not recommended. Tend to be very patronising. I'm out of there.
