I must apologise for taking up three minutes of Dr Antonia Wade’s time today and thank her for not bothering to examine me, so I could keep my clothes on, nor asking me any other time-wasting questions about my health. So refreshing. Also good to know that, should you need a GP’s note, the surgery doesn’t do notes. You would have to show proof of your hospital appointment, should you ever get one.

Every single time I go in there I feel unwelcome and I leave feeling like I want to cry. Receptionists are rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. They reluctantly booked my appointment over the phone after a lot of back and forth- I couldn’t do it online and they made it so difficult for me and were extremely rude and cold. Dr. Wade was cold, unfriendly, zero beside manner and made me feel like I was a nuisance for being there. I am newly pregnant and was feeling anxious and vulnerable and she showed zero compassion, care or interest. I’m disgusted with service I received. I will never go to her again.

I have been a patient at The Hammersmith Surgery for a number of years now and thankfully due to not having too many health issues have only had to see a GP occasionally. I am generally satisfied with the service provided but should point out 2 negative experiences with the GP named 'Antonia Wade'. On both occasions I found this GP to be arrogant, rude and disinterested in assisting with the issue at hand and reluctant to examine or actually do what you would expect from a family doctor when presented with a healthcare matter. On both occasions I was offered this person as being the 'only one available' so I will make sure that if I need a GP in the future here it will not be with 'Antonia Wade'. Have seen other GPs who have generally been professional and kept any narcissism to their private lives instead of pushing it on their patients, unlike Wade.
