I attended my surgery today 11/11/2025, and saw my own GP Dr Alg. Dr Alg was very professional, with impeccable manners, approachable, thorough, kind, and he provided all the information I needed. I am very happy with the way my appointment went as well as with the outcome, and I am very grateful for the impeccable services I received. Thank you, Dr Alg. Mrs A Deane

I’ve only been registered at this surgery for about a year, but in that short time I’ve experienced a pattern of poor care, inconsistent advice, and an overall lack of support. Despite raising valid and ongoing health concerns, I’ve been met with dismissiveness and minimal follow-up. Appointments are difficult to get, communication is often strained, and I’ve been made to feel like I’m asking too much simply for wanting my symptoms taken seriously. Even after hospital visits and external recommendations, this practice has shown little willingness to investigate further or offer proper continuity of care. Different doctors have given conflicting information, support that was previously agreed to has quietly disappeared, and I’ve been left in a position where I’m having to push for help I should be receiving as standard. This is not what I expect from a GP surgery — especially when my health has clearly warranted more attention than it’s been given. I’ve tried to stay patient and polite, but it’s difficult to feel anything other than completely let down.

I phoned the surgery because I felt a lump in my breast. The next appointment was for two weeks. I asked for an emergency appointment and was told the duty doctor would phone me. Dr Mason phoned and told me I must wait for a routine appointment. How could I be seen at the hospital within two weeks if I had to wait two weeks for the gp appointment?

Most of the doctors are unkind at this surgery- as well as frequently forgetting to make referrals or write prescriptions. Some, though not all, of the reception staff have also been mocking and impatient. I understand the doctors and receptionists are very busy, but they should know how much suffering they've caused by their lack of compassion. I wouldn't recommend this surgery to anyone.
