am on new medication and it is not yet on repeat prescription. I sent an email to the surgery inquiring how I can get more as I run out. This was sent on 30th December. I had not received a response. So I called brickfields surgery today (8/1/21 at 13:40) and the receptionist was extremely rude to me. She said that I had been given a repeat prescription that was sent the day of my email. I explained that I hadn't been informed of this, she laughed in my face and asked me if I really thought they had time to call everyone that sends an email. I am a nurse. I know everyone is busy. But how am I supposed to know I have a prescription waiting to be collected if I am not informed in some way (email response or phone call etc). Either way the manner by which she spoke to me was terrible

The design of the website is poor - for those seeking to order repeat prescriptions online, there is no clear path from the home page. The information about repeat prescriptions is very unhelpful - nowhere does it guide the user to the appropriate part of the website If you wish to avoid unnecessary contact with your receptionists you should address this promptly

I have not usually needed an urgent appointment but if I need a routine checkup I have never had a problem getting an appointment at a time to suit. On an occasion when I needed additional tests at a hospital I was referred promptly and received an appointment at the hospital promptly. The receptionists have always been polite and helpful.

The installation of a display to alert patients their doctor or nurse is ready to see them would save a lot of time for staff and doctors alike. Proactive notification to patients of screening and vaccination procedures available to them (flu, shingles, breast & bowel for example) would be helpful.

Firstly the doctors are worth every penny of the salary they get. The surgery does have its little hiccups with the service but given the scale of this operation its minor problems they sort quite quickly. At the end of the day the doctors and staff are human as well. I do not think that the unbooked surgery plan is working that well, I have come in to an empty surgery, A doctor in their room and had to wait an hour or more to see them, that seems to me to be a complete waste of the doctors and mine just as important ) time. First come first served would be a much more productive solution.

After myself and my family being patients of The Practice SWF for many years I had forgotten how a real Dr's surgery should be run. Aesthetically it may not look the most up to date surgery, however from reception to consultation it's a brethren of fresh air. Thank you.
