Omeprazole

Give it a try. I found it too difficult to continue as I was one of the few who lost my hair, so my GP changed the medication but myhair has not regrown much.
Unfortunately it reacted with other meds I was on and so it wasn't as effective as it should have been.
On 01.06.2011 my G.P. advised taking Omeprazole 20mg gastro-resistant capsules (one once daily) following a colonoscopy & upper G.I. endoscopy and diagnosis of a Hiatus Hernia. I have continued taking this medication on a repeat prescription to the present date. . . . . . I have had no problem with the Hiatus Hernia so Omeprazole must be beneficial to me.
It is difficult to assess whether any side effects are the result of this medication as I am on several others which have similar effects.
I would advice the patient to go to the doctor as soon possible,
when I went the doctor gave me some good advice so taking the tables helps a lot.
