Omperazole is an acid reducing medication. When I don't take this medication I get very bad chest pain and find it hard to breath. This is the only anti acid that helped me whereas the others didn't do much. If you are on in long term make sure you take magnesium supplement as it's know to reduce levels of this compound in the blood.
