Share review of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS)
The following points are relevant
a)The service is lead by an enthusiast, Dr Alex O'Neill-Kerr who runs this service
in addition to his responsibility as Medical Director of the Trust.
b)The unit has acquired a great deal of experience and is probably preminate in
having a national; status and a lead position.
c) The team have good nursing leadership and very caring staff, who care for the well being of the patient in the widest sense.
I understand that improvements are planned for the layout of the department - or
replacement, as the present arrangements compromise patient privacy.
It is always a pleasure to visit the Hospital although a long distance from our home.
My wife was admitted to the John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford wit a urine infection earlier this year where surprisingly there was complete ignorance in the Neuroscience
Department of RTMS. Why does this not figure in doctors training?
