Sam did a great job working with me to help treat, rehabilitate and strengthen my knee after suffering from a pesky injury a few months ago. He shares the 'why' behind each treatment and exercise and gives very practical advice to help prevent injuries going forward (which is great).
Sam helped me to recover from a persistent injury to my calf. He worked to address the immediate issue, and then quickly got me up and running and focused on addressing my running style to make recurrence less likely. The result was that, 2-3 months on, I am a stronger and more resilient runner.
Sam provided helpful, insightful advice to help treat an ongoing wrist injury. He really listened to the challenges I was facing and and clearly explained how best to treat my injury with physiotherapy. He developed a detailed treatment program that was adapted over several months, monitored my progress and helped me to manage my own symptoms. I would highly recommend Sam as a thoughtful and skilled professional.
Sam obviously has an understanding of physical injuries and how to treat them. However, he goes above and beyond that with the aim of rehabilitating the muscles to be stronger than before the injury so that there is less risk of a re-lapse. Sam is also willing to listen and act on other niggles that may have been triggered by the main injury and is willing to put the work in to address these issues too. Sam did a great job on my knee and back.
I have received some great help and advice from Sam at Body Logic. Right from the start Sam has been helpful, supportive, caring and professional within just a few weeks my both conditions have improved. I would not hesitate to recommend Sam to anyone with musculoskeletal issues or injuries.
