Paul has been amazing in diagnosing my shoulder and back issues, treating them and best of all he has completely eliminated the shoulder pain that I had had for so long. I can't recommend him more highly!
I initially saw Paul back in 2013 to help overcome a longstanding calf problem to which he provided expert treatment to not only return me back to running, but also to address beyond the immediate symptoms, management of the underlying causes to allow me progress my training to a more advanced level whilst remaining injury-free.
I have since seen Paul to address various sporting knocks and strains and fully trust his professional judgement in helping me back to health so I can achieve my goals. Paul is a good communicator who understands the needs of athletes of all levels to ensure a progressive recovery whilst explaining the various stages of treatment.
I would recommend Paul to any persons, athletic or otherwise, for physio matters.
I have known Paul and his practice for several years, as a runner and triathlete. In mid 2014 I turned to Paul for help me after my first ironman, firstly in relation to recovery from knee surgery (torn meniscus) and secondly a herniated cervical disc. Both happened at the same time meaning I had 6 months of physiotherapy. Paul carefully guided me through what was a difficult period for me, since I am very normally active. I put my full trust in him, I saw him regularly, things were explained to me. Recovery from the disc issue was an incredibly gradual one, but patience, exercises and physiotherapy from Paul won through. He kept me positive throughout and was very accurate in telling me when I could expect to get back to full training.
I would recommend Paul without a shadow of a doubt, he helped me with both issues. I am now fully recovered, and he has assisted me not only getting back to previous strength but also getting me stronger. He has helped me understand my body mechanics better, made me mindful of looking after myself better, and now keeps me on track as I get ready to do my second ironman. Really my hero of 2014.

Paul qualified in 1994 at Manchester University and proceeded to work for three and a half years at Ealing Hospital NHS Trust. During this period he worked in most areas of physiotherapy but it was always musculoskeletal injuries that appealed the most. It was from here that he first moved into full time private practice, where he has been working since the end of 1997.
During this period Paul has undertaken numerous weekend courses to aid in his development as a physiotherapist. These have covered many of the various techniques used within the profession. He works very much as a manual therapist focusing largely on the body's biomechanics, relating this to dysfunction. Paul has a special interest in hypermobility and the associated retraining.
Paul undertook the Movement Solution Course in 2010 and has since continued his studies at Keele University, recently passing these modules, he is now an accredited Movement Control Physiotherapist.
Paul has also worked with the following sports teams:
- London Scottish Rugby Club
- Middlesex Cricket Club
- MCC Young Cricketers
