Fiona Wallis
Fiona is a specialist physiotherapist working in Women’s Health. She has 14 years experience in treating women with continence and pelvic floor problems. She qualified at St Mary’s Hospital in London and has worked in the NHS and privately. Presently she works within the NHS in this specialist role. Fiona offers her expertise to women with bladder problems and pelvic floor weakness. This includes treatment for stress incontinence, urgency and insensible loss, vaginal prolapse and pain, post operative advice following gynae and bladder surgery, post natal advice and treatment for bowel incontinence and urgency. Fiona says “These are very personal problems and it takes courage for someone to seek help. Whether after the birth of a baby, following gynae surgery, around the menopause or at any time there is always something that can help. I would always recommend women tried conservative treatment before choosing surgery or medication.”
