For some years have patronised a very local independent optician who has retired so, on the recommendation of a very good friend, sought out this practice. Eye test with Gill was very thorough and helpful. Advice was that change in script was marginal and that I could continue with current spectacles but that I would notice a difference for closer work. After some thought for a week, returned to choose and order a new frame and lens which, with bifocals, were tricky for at least two weeks (this has happened previously with specs). However, new softer pads. and patience, has delivered the improved vision which was obvious at the start but just needed some time to 'acclimatise' Roney and Ashleigh were very helpful and knowledgeable on selection day and a young lady with dark hair changed the pads and made a big difference to the comfort of the frame. I shall return.

Very efficient and running on time which I liked. Very knowledgable and made me feel I was in safe hands. Good handover to colleague to help me choose glasses.

Gill & Becky were both very thorough during my eye test and whilst helping me to pick new glasses. I have never been to an opticians where everything is double checked this was reassuring. I have already recommended Boots in Wimborne to several people. Your review questionnaire does not work well on my mobile phone. I could not see the choices for the 'do you know the name of your optometrist'

I was very happy with the very thorough eye health check both by using the up to date equipment and also by the Optometrist. My only adverse comment would be that the dispenser initially led me towards the most expensive frames.(approx £380 frame only) Once he knew I didn't want to spend that much on just the frame, he was able to help and advise me on a frame that would be more suitable. So I was very pleased with the choice of both clear varifocal glasses and sun glasses.
