Share review of Boots Opticians Wimborne
Gill, the optometrist, was both professional and friendly. My wife attended with me as she wished to observe because I recently had a private consultation with a consultant as my then optometrist had advised that I should - I could have had an NHS appointment but that would have taken time.
The result of this consultation was that the consultant found nothing wrong other than the cataract, of which I was aware, and did not understand why I was given the information that I had been given by the optometrist.
Not knowing this, Gill explained about my cataract, said that I did not need distance glasses, which I had been using for some years, and gave me a prescription for reading glasses all of which was close to what my consultant had told me. I left feeling confident.
I wish to thank Roney for his assistance in advising and helping me choose my new reading glasses
