The optometrist listened carefully as I explained my problematic visual symptoms and ensuing reason for making my appointment, then pursued a comprehensive range of tests for my eyes. I needed new lens prescriptions for 2 pairs of spectacles (distance and reading), including new spectacle frames -- staff at the opticians were most helpful in arranging all these processes and collecting both pairs of spectacles (10 days' time).
