Choosing the glasses was steered towards a £400 pair. Then bizarrely once I had chosen a pair and decided on them the assistant rushed off then returned and put a pair of Union Jack glasses for children on me and said they were better as my eyes are close together. The stems did not reach my ears and I am a 50 year old man, not a child. I will go somewhere else in future it was just a weird and unsettling experience. Very odd !
