Great way to arrange appointment. Poor selection of lower price glasses

I booked an appointment for myself and my partner, had a print out of the times but when we got there they didn't have me booked in. They managed to get me seen even though I was originally told they were fully booked. Due to this the appointment was running late we were there for 2 and a half hours. Also I was told I was over due for my eye check as my last one was in 2012 but I explained I came 2 years ago, the reason was because my records hadn't been updated even though i had rang, visited and emailed the branch when I kept getting reminders. I also have concerns that my prescriptions keeps being increased each time when i have my eye test. I understand that with a stronger prescription my sight would be even better but I dont have any issues seeing with my current glasses just glare driving at night. My concern is that if my prescription keeps being increased when my sight isn't bad with my current glasses my sight will keep getting worse. 2 years ago when I picked up my current glasses I struggled to get use to them because they were so strong, I'm worried when I pick up my new prescription it will be the same which makes me wonder if a stronger prescription is really necessary.

I booked some lenses to collect inshore and it took over two weeks for me to get them as when I phoned up they said I had already collected them!!! no that was not true. Then I booked an appointment to see the Optometrist and the appointment was cancelled but they didn't let me know!!! No good at all. I am very disappointed with this service.
