Everyone I spoke to was very helpful and friendly. The only query I have is with the cost of my new glasses. I did not look at the receipt until I got home and then realised that the cost of my first pair of glasses was not as I expected. I will ask about this when I go to collect my glasses but, in hindsight, it would have been helpful if we had gone through this at the time. It would also have been helpful if I had been asked if I had a Boots Advantage card when I made the payment. I did not think of it at the time so it is my fault really and this is not a complaint. Just a point that might be useful to note.

A misunderstanding regarding whether i was entitled to a free eye test due to a family history of glaucoma led to a situation where i was asked to 'prove' which family member had the history or be charged as a private customer, I spend £500.00 on each pair of glasses annually and do not need to "fiddle" a free eye test. I will be taking my business elsewhere
