Waiting time was quite long for children. Everyone was very friendly and professional though and you didn't feel rushed when you were seen! I didn't feel like I was being pressured into buying glasses. I felt like the optometrist gave an honest assessment.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
The optometrist explained the procedures he was carrying out during my eye examination and reassured me of his findings.
He explained which type of lenses would be suitable for my prescription and the cost and payment methods available.
The whole experience from booking to the collection of my prescription was effortless
Just the length of time and repetitive questions. Asked same health questions at appointment booking, when arrived and checked in and then by optician. Took my 2 children and was in there just over 2 hours. When chosen glasses the member of staff was then back & forth getting other staff to check and verify. I understand need to check prescription correct but could have been done all at same time rather than in stages. Seem to take forever and children were very fed up by time we left. Also past notes not ready so had to wait for these to be found so optician could check some details.
All staff were friendly, polite and efficient. Impressed by new equipment I haven't seen before and used to do the preliminary checks before seeing the optometrist. Tracey at the Sheffield branch was extremely helpful when selecting and ordering new spectacles.
