Sarah was friendly and helpful. One thing I was particularly pleased about was that, when I arrived, she was talking to two colleagues but, as soon as she noticed me standing at Reception, she came straight over. Tracey was very thorough and took a lot of time to talk through options and make the right decisions. She also has an entertaining sense of humour. On this visit, I didn't find the Optometrist very warm (she also did a lot of chewing!) but I'm sure she did a professional job.

Dan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with my glasses selection. The experience was was considerably enhanced by his positive attitude and advice.

Everyone involved were professional and friendly. I was given clear advice. Due to a family history of diabetes and glaucoma, I felt I was taken extra care of. On my first visit on Monday Dan and Jaz were especially helpful. On my follow up visit yesterday for a Goldman test, the lady could sense I was anxious and was completely understanding and put me at ease. She did tell me her name but I have forgotten it. In the waiting room it was clear that the staff have a lovely rapport with people-one old lady clearly had an established and strong relationship with one of the optometrists. I now feel very loyal to this branch and when my friend comes back off holiday will come in to choose my glasses.

Very very poor customer service. The store telephone is rarely answered meaning that you have to physically visit the store for any issue. The staff are very junior, and not customer focused at all. Lots of errors made in the processing of my appointment especially updating my contact details on the database which I had to point out to them on several occasions before all the fields were finally inputted correctly. I was trialling Boots to see if I should switch from vision express, my experience to date suggests that would not be a smart move.

I'm on the ever efficient Contact Lens Scheme & after some issues with my eye health, this resulted in me using up my remaining lenses for the month. The helpline was closed, so in a big panic, I called into Queens Road. It appeared the issue wasn't straight forward but these issues were not a problem and the assistant - Tracey - she was efficient, as well as warm and lovely, and I was so grateful that she managed to sort things for me. Later in the week, I rang to check on my order and by coincidence, I spoke to the same assistant. She explored every avenue for my order, resulting in finding it, she really did go the extra mile. I could not recommend this opticians higher - it's very obvious that Boots pride themselves on an efficient, friendly, and personal optometry service.
