My experience was mixed. I understand that an optometrist was off sick so it may not be the norm. However, the optometrist (Maxine - who was excellent in every way) kept being interrupted by a knock on the door for advice etc. Maxine did extremely well under these stressful circumstances in terms of keeping focus but my patient experience was compromised. I feel that due to no fault of her own - if she had made a mistake, she would have been held accountable. I think that a do not disturb policy or system is required.
