I booked my spot online a week in advance. When I got to the appt I was told an optician had not turned up for work and they xoukd not do the appt. she said she thought someone had tried to contact me by phone. No one had and they had not tried to email. This was completely unacceptable. Very arrogant of a business yo think that people hadn't got anything else to do with their weekend than waste time trsvfllung to appts that have been cancelled. I insisted we see someone which the helpful receptionist duly organised. The optician was a joke. Both myself and my son could not understand what he was trying to say. He spoke so fast my son could not understand which option of lense he was supposed to choose. Then he tried to tell me that although my son had worn glasses since he was 7 he now doesn't need to. Although his prescription has changed and he is getting new glasses from yourselves. Honestly I am at a loss and have lost all confidence in your business. We will be transferring opticians! Would not recommend your branch if it were the only one in Sheffield which fortunately it is not!
