Everything was great
Now waiting for my third perscription after 2 failures now going back to original which I had problems with the first time, not a good experience after spending about £550 and keep having to go back time after time still don't know if you've got it right yet not very happy at all.
Really good service very helpful when explaining the difference between lenses. Looking forward to getting my glasses
I struggled to get the appointment at my local store as a long wait so ended up arranging at a different branch. I arrived and was left waiting 15 mins to be told my appointment was cancelled. Bearing in mind if rushed around like a mad woman to get there. Taken over an hour out of my day to attend and paid for additional childcare I was extremely unhappy! The assistant manager who told me was rude and beyond useless trying to place the blame on me saying it was my "duty" to attend eye check ups and it was one of those things that a bereavement had happened
She even phoned people before telling me! As a result, bearing in mind I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years, I've cancelled my prescription and I'll be going elsewhere. In fact I've already found a cheaper supplier. I'll be sure to let any family and friends using your service that there are better and cheaper options available. To say I am upset is a complete undrestatement and I'm so angry I was forced to spend money on travel and childcare unnecessarily. What an absolute disgrace
The irony of then calling into a different boots store today and being given a free contact lenses trial voucher suggests perhaps priority is given to new customers. I'll probably start shopping in super drug to avoid being wound up further
The treatment I received is a disgrace. The assistant manager cannot manage conflict of customer service.
Both myself and my husband were assisted by Amiah and Kim who were fantastic. The optometrist was lovely and very efficient but recommended a very expensive lens for me my last glasses were just £50 reading glasses and suddenly I was being recommended £280 pound lenses I must admit I was ready to leave without buying and would have probably taken my husband with me. I felt as though I wasn't offered any alternative by the Optometrist or told how much more expensive the recommended lens would be. I felt she was trying to get me to spend more than I needed to. However after explaining this to Kim she spoke to the Optometrist and Amiah came to help. They were both amazing and definitely saved the sale and ensured both myself and my husband left more than happy and both with new glasses.
