The optometrist was friendly and professional. However, I had phoned the in-store branch to book the appointment with a specific person. The person helping me to do this appeared to have checked for an available appointment with my preferred optician, and assured me that this had been arranged. The optometrist I saw was from a different branch and covering for that day, and she obviously didn't know I had asked for someone specific. She apologised for the mix up, but I should really have been told when I first arrived at the reception desk. I definitely feel that standards in this branch have dropped in the last year or so.
