I was really pleased with the eye examination - which I thought was thorough and well explained. There was an issue with the picture taken on one of my eyes, which had to be repeated, but this wasn't an issue. Due to my previous appointments being conducted at another branch, the previous records weren't available for the consultation, but these were obtained later in the day and the optician called me and confirmed that the condition being monitored was consistent with previous visits. My only grumbles were that I didn't like the fact that two separate consultations were performed in the same time in the room where pressures and pictures were taken. It was a small room for two customers and two staff to be at the same time and being talked to separately. It didn't feel particularly private. I also didn't like the fact that most of the glasses I was interested in were locked up. When looking for new glasses it's nice to be able to try lots of styles. Having to ask to get every single frame released was a pain. I therefore went elsewhere for frames and lenses, which wouldn't have been my preference. A lost opportunity! (I appreciate this was probably for security reasons and may be linked to thefts, but there must be a better way of servicing genuine customers.)
