Jordan was extremely helpful when choosing frames as I wanted something different to my normal choice. All the staff were very friendly and there was a good atmosphere in the shop, which is kept beautifully clean and tidy.
This was my first time using Boots and I felt that they were very professional and welcoming. Everything was explained to me in detail that I understood and I felt that they weren't pushy at all.
Great care was taken with the check up, polite, knowledgeable staff.
Adam was brilliant who did the eye test.
Thorough and professional
It was very busy and I arrived early
Staff before appointment were methodical
After my eye test which was at 1630 it was clear staff had lost interest in serving me.
Staff members were swapped so man could cash up, the female paid minimal attention (though did offer one opinion), I was interrupted to ask would I be paying cash & no effort was made to explain pricing or how my bill leapt from the £210 specified on the glasses as complete price to £467.50 I ended up paying. No options were discussed and I was harried and stressed when I left the branch
I returned after going elsewhere following a previous bad experience at Boots but this visit for the choosing of glasses anyway was awful
I booked on line which was great. I arrived at Boots Opticians in Queensgate where I had always been and was told my appointment was at the outside Boots Opticians! My confirmation text just said Boots Peterborough. Why are there 2 Boots Opticians so close!
