I got an appointment very easily and the whole process went smoothly when I arrived. I had various eye tests done such as retinal photography and those that test peripheral vision - the man who did these was very informative. The optometrist I saw was Mr D Cartwright ( I think!) who was very competent, friendly and informative. I had a concern about my vision; he did the tests required, assessed my level of knowledge and went through all of the findings including the photographs of my eye. He was very kind and reassured me and advised me on getting new glasses and how he expected my vision to change. I was then passed on to a young student dispenser who was equally as lovely and knowledgable - she helped me decide on what kind of glasses and lenses to go for. I recommend this store.

I always have a good experience when in Boots Opticians and always find everyone in the team are very welcoming and friendly, but this time it was for my husband. Our assistant was "Yvonne Wrigley" She was very friendly, efficient and most caring in helping my husband with his purchase of 2 new pairs of spectacles. She was very helpful to me as well and gave me some advice when booking my next appointment for contact lenses. We both felt very relaxed and happy with the service Yvonne gave us. We hope she will be Thanked for the excellent service that she gave to us both.

I had a very thorough eye test with the results explained very clearly. TheOptometrist was really friendly and made me feel at ease. She explained the results of my test and said I did not need any new glasses. I really appreciated this honesty although I had been wearing my current ones for some time and decided I needed a change of frame. Her name was Naj, a lovely lady. I would also like to mention a lady called Shelley who helped me choose my new frames, her patience, honesty and general friendliness was excellent. All in all a lovely experience.
