I attended with my son for our yearly check up. Right from the start the service we received was brilliant. The young girl who asked us questions in family history was lovely, she interacted with my son asking him questions about his likes/dislikes. She explained all the procedures to us on the various tests prior to seeing the Optometrist, my son was fascinated, she answered all of his questions. It was a enjoyable experience.

I am extremely shortsighted with additional eye complications, and can only see out of 1 eye. Each change of prescription brings new challenges and difficulties, added to which, my latest glasses were not presented in the promised bespoke finish as discussed. Not a problem for me, but I know that it was an enormous problem for the staff behind the scenes. I was looked after by Daksha and Clarke, both of whom went way beyond what would normally be expected. I was given immediate attention, my bespoke glasses were hand finished, and both Daksha and Clarke bought in the tools to complete the job without complaint. I really cannot thank them enough or explain how grateful I am to them. The rest of the staff at the store take their lead from Daksha, and seek to emulate her expertise and special effort to treat every patient with respect, kindness, efficiency and understanding. It works. I highly recommend Boots opticians Victoria Centre. You will not be disappointed.

I have previously tried contact lenses from another Opticians but to no avail. Boots (Contact Lenses) was recommended to me and a subsequent appointment was made to see Mr David MEES at their premises in Victoria Centre, Nottingham He took the time and patience to work with me over a number of appointments, subsequently resulting in the end product that I am now able to wear Daily Contact Lenses. HIs attitude, professionalism, politeness and determination to find me the correct lenses (due to the fact I have a astigmatism on both eyes) were outstanding. I would have no hesitation in recommending Boots or Mr MEES to other people.

Hazel Woodard, optician, was very professional and kind. It was great that she took the time to explain the tests and offered some additional eye care advise which I've not had in the past from specsavers. The test before were ok but the testers seem to need more training. The lady helping select glasses was very good but the total cost was very expensive even with my contact lens discount. I wouldn't have brought my glasses from boots if I had to pay the full price as you are way to expensive. So great optician but the rest could be improved!
