As on so many occasions, I found communication between the online service and the branch just did not happen. I took the trouble to e-mail in advance to ask for confirmation about whether or not I would be eligible for an eye test as I could not remember when my last eye test was and I had received a letter from Boots asking me to attend a contact lens and eye check appointment. My e-mail reply did not flag up a problem. On arrival at my appt it soon emerged that my last eye apt had been 1 year ago and I could not have a free eye test. What a waste of my time and yours. Please improve your communication between the online service and between branches... it is a source of difficulty every time I deal with you.
