On online appointment booking system would be helpful where I could see vacant slots. I only needed a basic eye test so should have been straightforward instead I had to phone. A calendar appointment automatically being sent to my email would also have been appreciated. I cannot believe the practice is so reliant on paper. The opportunities for digitisation are endless! E.g. The optician has to hand copy my prescription once for his records and once for mine... What a waste of his time.
