Very welcoming and friendly team. However, every time we attend for an appointment we are kept waiting for a very long time. At my most recent visit we waited approximately 30 minutes beyond the appointment time to be seen! There were also lengthy wait times between being seen by different people as part of the visit. For example Optometrist, staff taking the retinal images and staff recording the details of the new glasses being purchased. The overall visit took just under 3 hours. I would understand if expect the sight test and purchase to take up to an hour, but having to wait such a long time overall was ridiculous. It ruined our evening and meant I had to cancel subsequent plans made. I saw other people leaving and rearranging their appointment, so it was clear I was not the only person disappointed by the delays. However, as my previous appointment had already been cancelled by Boots (apparently there was a staffing issue) and my children require new glasses as soon as possible, rearranging again was not an option for me. I return for continuity of care for the sake of the children but I cannot continue to receive the poor level of service sustained last week.
