The optometrist and the experience was a nightmare. They could not find the details of my previous appointments and then they discovered I had been registered with a misspelled name. I also realised my children had been registered with a wrong (not existing) address thus I didn't get any reminder for them. As the optometrist could not find my details she insisted I had never been there! She never listened to my concerns. She just tried to do her routine work without listening to me at all. I also spent about 1 hours before being seen just to find the frame I liked and once I had to order new glasses I was told my frame was out of stock so the only option was to choose the only frame left or choose a new one. After spending almost 3 hours...I have no intention of choosing a new frame so I had to take the last one on display. With the IT system they have, they should easily update the window display. At first staff seemed under pressure to do their job. When I collected my glasses staff seemed more friendly. Many part-time people...so who is responsible for writing my details or my children's details wrongly? There should be a way to track who inputs customer's details/orders on the system. Staff were not sure about my prescription as I was looking for intermediate glasses and at the end of my experience I left the shop with new glasses but no idea about my prescription. All the times the optometrist, despite using a polite language, was very annoying, irritating and never interested in my concerns. I would never use them again. And every time I have to go there at least three times as my visit is never complete on the first occasion.
